How to Become Catholic!

Have you, or someone you know, ever considered becoming Catholic?

Do you know of someone who is not Christian, but seems interested in learning more about Christianity? It could be a co-worker, a friend, a relative, or a social acquaintance. Have you ever discussed religion with them? Do they exhibit any interest at all in the possibility that there may actually be a God and wonder what God may be like? Have they heard things about the Catholic Church that may, or may not, be true and would like to know the real, honest to goodness, truth about what the Catholic Church teaches?

Maybe they are already Christian, but they just don’t feel fulfilled at their current church…as if there is something missing perhaps. Have any of them said that they are tired of their church seemingly “going with the flow” of our societal ways and not adhering to any kind of objective truth?

How about someone who was baptized Catholic, but never received any of the other sacraments? Might they be having an identity crisis of sorts…“am I Catholic?” Are their sins starting to weigh heavily on them and, if so, might they be interested in a way to relieve that burden through God’s endless mercy found in the Sacrament of Reconciliation? Do they have a desire to receive our Lord in the Eucharist?

If you know of anyone who fits any of these descriptions, please ask them if they might be interested in learning more about Catholicism, or Christianity in general, by joining our RCIA process. It is confidential and there is no risk at all on their part! All of their questions and concerns about our Catholic faith will be answered in a warm, inviting, non-combative atmosphere. Also, if they choose to, they may leave the process at any time. Please, talk to them, and…
